Braun / Allison, the creative marketing services firm behind our brand, has recently started working with Trevor Linden by helping him transition into real estate development & by becoming more visible online through Twitter. In exchange, Trevor wanted to initiate a contest so that he could donate to local charities & not-for-profit organizations that could creatively use the prize to bring attention to & benefit their organization. The prizes included a lunch with Trevor Linden, as well as two signed jersey’s to additional winning charities. You can read more about the contest details here.

We love his gracious nature & wanted to pitch in by offering the contest winners free lunches to Coast & to Society, our soon-to-be open restaurant in Yaletown. The lunch with Trevor Linden contest winners are The Arts Umbrella & the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, & the two signed jersey’s will go to the 100 Mile Angels & Yoga4Kids. Trevor had a tremendously difficult time choosing the winning charities, as all exemplified a strong sense of spirit in their work. Congratulations to all, & thank-you to Trevor for helping bring awareness to these foundations.
