Vancouver, BC (January 12, 2010): The GLOWBAL COLLECTION is celebrating the January 12 reopening of its flagship restaurant – newly branded glowbal grill steaks & satay - by offering all guests 50% off lunch entrees for the remainder of January.
When it opened in 2002, glowbal grill and satay bar quickly became a Yaletown dining institution. From leisurely al fresco Sunday brunches on the expansive patio to intimate dinners in the energetic dining room, to even cozier nights spent in the sultry AFTERglow lounge – glowbal has a strong following and has become a neighbourhood anchor and city hotspot.
Proprietors Emad Yacoub and Shannon Bosa-Yacoub have unveiled a new, sleeker version of their first restaurant and Chef Erik Heck has created a new menu to go along with the chic surroundings.
Given the addition of ’steak’ in its moniker, a focus on prime cuts of beef is only natural. The menus are a ‘globally inspired’ combination of regional and exotic ingredients. Although steaks take centre stage, seafood, a variety of sizzling satays and glowbal’s famous spaghetti and Kobe meatballs remain menu staples.

We were in Videomatica on 4th and they recommended we try your restaurant. Wow did we ever enjoy our meal. We have traveled to all the major cities in the U.S. and eaten at many of the top recommended restaurants and you are the best for flavour that is deep and rich. We have been to this restaurant twice in a week. Your pesentations are so eye apealing and your service invites you back over and over again. It is obvious we could’nt resist!
I hope you will consider opening one of your restaurants in the Langley area or Abbotsford area – we are desperate to get restaurants of your caliber. I would think Italian Kitchen would really take off here. Thanks Bev. Kosty (your Glowbal collection Ambassador)
